Event web image_001Friday December 4th the start of a new tradition. The La Crescenta Christmas Tree Lighting. Sponsored by LA County Supervisor Michael Antonovich and the Crescenta Valley Town Council. The main tree in front of the La Crescenta Library will be lit up for Christmas. Crafts and activities will start in the Community room at 5:30 and then the ceremony with Supervisor Antonovich will begin at 6:30. The tree lighting should occur about 7:15. After the tree is lit, be sure to bring your kids back to the community room where Supervisor Antonovich will read a holiday story, “Snowmen at Night”.

The first annual La Crescenta Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony will be a great community & family event. There will be plenty of entertainment as well. Enjoy some festive holiday music performed by the Verdugo Hills Ward choir and Rosemont Middle School advanced strings. Audience participation is several songs as well will be a must. Nothing like a little Christmas caroling to keep the event festive and fun. Hope to see all of the community December 4th.
