11be1b2f-4ace-4875-83b4-d41a8b44f0d8Crescenta Valley Town Council held their monthly meeting on December 17th at 7pm.  The meeting had a festive atmosphere filled with warm wishes that were extended to our outgoing President, Robbyn Battles, and retiring Council Members, Kyle Studebaker and Kevin Kang.  The trio received many certificates of thanks and accommodation, from Congressman Adam Schiff, CV Chamber, American Legion and the GUSD Board—just to name a few.

Supervisor Michael Antonovich was on hand to swear in our newly elected council members.
Following updates on security and safety from our First Responders (LA County Fire, CHP, and Sheriff), the council got down to the business of electing its new officers for 2016.  The slate was announced and passed unanimously.  The newly seated council had but a few orders of business to vote on before adjourning the meeting and joining the large crowd for appetizers and desserts, to celebrate the holiday season.
Crescenta Valley Town Council will hit the ground running in January, when we will do community outreach on the plans and proposals for the new medians on Foothill Boulevard.  The Parks Outreach Community meeting on January 30th, 10 am at Rosemont Middle School will be held to discuss the needs and assessments of our parks and green spaces with representatives from LA County Parks and Recreation. The CVTC looks forward to further serving the community in 2016.
Thank you for your continued support.
