Glendale and La Cañada Flintridge – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close portions of the Foothill Freeway (I-210) as part of a pavement rehabilitation project. The following schedule will be in effect, weather permitting, and is subject to change:

Westbound Pennsylvania Avenue on-and off-ramp closures estimated to reopen during April

Monday, April 3 through Friday, April 7

Eastbound I-210

7 p.m. to 6 a.m. – Up to 3 lanes between Lowell Avenue to Lake Avenue

7 p.m. to 6 a.m. – La Crescenta Avenue and Walnut Street on-ramps, Mountain Street, Marengo Avenue, and Arroyo Boulevard off-ramps, Angeles Crest Highway, Pennsylvania Avenue, Ocean View Boulevard, and Lincoln Boulevard on- and off-ramps

7 p.m. to 6 a.m. – Eastbound I-210 connector to southbound Glendale Freeway (SR-2)

7 p.m. to 6 a.m. – Northbound SR-2 to eastbound I-210

9 p.m. to 6 a.m. – Eastbound I-210 connector to Ventura Freeway (SR-134)  9 p.m. to 6 a.m. – Eastbound I-210 connector to southbound SR-710

Westbound I-210

7 p.m. to 6 a.m. – Up to 4 lanes between Lake Avenue and Lowell Avenue

7 p.m. to 6 a.m. – Walnut Street on-ramp, Marengo Avenue, Mountain Street, Arroyo Boulevard, La Crescenta Avenue, and Lowell Avenue off-ramps, Lincoln Boulevard, Angeles Crest Highway, and Ocean View Boulevard on- and off-ramps

7 p.m. to 6 a.m. – Westbound I-210 connector to southbound SR-2

9 p.m. to 6 a.m. – Westbound I-210 connector to southbound SR-710

8 p.m. to 7 a.m. – Northbound SR-2 connector to westbound I-210

7 p.m. to 6 a.m. – Eastbound SR-134 connector to westbound I-210

Northbound Glendale Freeway SR-2

8 p.m. to 6 a.m. –Verdugo Boulevard and Foothill Boulevard off-ramps Southbound Glendale Freeway SR-2

8 p.m. to 6 a.m. –Verdugo Boulevard and Foothill Boulevard on-ramps

Motorists should anticipate delays, plan ahead and use alternate routes. Construction signs and changeable message signs will be in place to alert motorists of construction activities and closures. Caltrans appreciates your patience while we work to improve I-210. Motorists are advised to “Be Work Zone Alert.”
