Outdoor Lighting Survey
Los Angeles County announces that residents of La Crescenta-Montrose will soon be able to choose if they want new, more restrictive lighting standards for their community through a “Community Lighting Survey”.  The County Department of Regional Planning has mailed a survey form to all property owners.
The purpose for this survey is to assess whether the current regulations for outdoor lighting along residential streets in the community should be maintained or a different approach should be initiated. The results of the survey will be used by the County to identify the lighting needs of the community and develop an action program. The County wants to know what you think. Your opinion matters!
If you have questions, you can attend the Town Council’s Land Use meeting on August 3, at 6:30 PM in the Community Room of the La Crescenta Library.  Carmen Sainz from the Dept. of Regional Planning will be present to answer questions.  You can then drop your surveys in the box after/during the meeting.  (The library closes at 6:00 PM on Thursdays so please be sure to enter from the back, upper parking lot.)
Please complete the survey when you receive it. ONE SURVEY PER PROPERTY WILL BACCEPTED. All SURVEYS must be turned in no later than August 7, 2017 by 12 midnight.
